The 4 Pillars

These four pillars are the cornerstones of the psychedelic midwives mission and ethos. Each one of these pillars embodies an aspect of the psychedelic midwives consciousness and how it wants to express itself in the world.

Connection is about bringing people and ideas together in an effort towards community and deepening associations. As humans we are communal beings. We need one another in order to learn, heal, grow, and awaken. A core tenant of the psychedelic midwives then, is deep interrelatedness to self, others, and mother earth.

Individuation is a word for the soulful process of becoming and realizing that we are individual beings with unique gifts and medicine for the world. This process of individuation is about awakening to the sacred equanimity of life which includes both differentiation from others, as well as realizing the deep interconnectedness of all beings.

Education is about expanding knowledge and consciousness. As psychedelic midwives we feel passionate about growing others and ourselves through sharing information, experience, and insight in an effort toward deeper levels of wholeness, understanding of self, and the world around us.

wWe choose celebration as our final pilar because was Psychedelic Midwives, we believe it is important to our wellbeing as humans to joyfully honor life in its entirety. What is the purpose of healing and awakening, if not to be to fully celebrate this exisitence, the ancestors, Mother Earth, soul and our connections with others. What a powerful and beautiful thing it is to be a human, and in celebration we honor life in its totality.
